It's a quiet day in the neighborhood. It's about to get busy because it's trash collection day and the house is getting painted today. The only action so far this morning was when Boo! got stuck in a box. I wish I had gotten a picture of it. The tall, thin box must have called her name, and she listened! (Insert eyeroll)

Unfortunately, there was no way out. But my attempts to rescue her turned into a game of "Imma gonna git your hand." I finally turned the box on its side and let her figure the rest out herself.

I can't wait to tell the story of our little visitor. I am not going to be the "Geege who Stole Christmas" so you'll just have to wait. I will say that Boo! and Dash know something's up and they manage to squeeze their way into that room every chance they get.

It has become a test of wills between the two of them and me. They're winning because they double team me. While I'm busy with one the other senses my vulnerability and pushes in. In basketball, a double team (also double-team, double teaming, or double-teaming) is a defensive alignment in which two defensive players are assigned to guard a single offensive player. Yep, that's precisely what they do. I'm thinking whoever created the game of basketball had two Abyssinian cats. I'm willing to bet Machiavelli had a couple as well.
