I am late in writing today because it started out busy. It was one of those "divide and conquer" days, where Andy went in one direction and I went in another. I did the pet store and grocery shopping; Andy picked up the kids. We met at home then everybody went to the Johnny Dee and the Starlights Christmas show.
My cousin, who's visiting from Michigan, met us there. It is always fun to visit with her and her husband. She brought pictures from our childhood with her. We have so much fun laughing at the "bad old days."
The show was wonderful. Our son does such a great performance of oldies from the 50's - Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and Elvis. He also does Hank Williams. His shows are so much fun.
The animals were happy to see us when we got back. I had to hustle to get everyone fed. People leave cats for days. I don't know how they do it because mine would never stand for it.
This is going to be a very short entry because I am tired and really need to go to bed. Hopefully I will be inspired in the morning.
The look says it all - "Where have you been? We're starving!" |
